Critical Thinking, Part Two

"I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees". This statement may have struck a chord with the thinking of people who didn't want to think that anything could have been done in New Orleans to prevent a flood. But the truth is clear. All one had to do was tune into the Weather channel and you could hardly not hear about the potential disaster if Katrina struck New Orleans. Does no one in the Bush administration or FEMA own a TV set?

Bush was too busy trying to avoid war protestors and drum up support for his failed ideas to pay attention to current events.
