Critical Thinking, Part One

In this entry we will began the study of the Rational Point of View by introducing Critical Thinking. Critical Thinking is an essential tool in our arsenal against ignorance and superstition. The Wikipedia has a definition of Critical Thinking.

Here is an example from recent events where we can apply our critical thinking skills to help us determine the truth.

George W. Bush, President of the United States, has been quotes as say on ABC News "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees," he told Diane Sawyer.

Is this a credible statement from the President? Could it be possible that it is true?
